CAN I SHOOT IN THE GENERAL CAFE SPACE?

Yes. If you have formally booked the space, we welcome you to shoot in other common areas. Please be a contributing member of the community, and do not shoot in the common space without a booking.

CAN I BOOK MORE THAN ONE STUDIO?

Yes, you can. This commonly happens for large or complex shoots. The fort can make a great staging area, or adding it to your booking can increase the variety of your shoot. *You must book the additional space. Due to current demand, there are no discounts for booking both spaces.

CAN I USE THE FURNITURE?

Yes, generally speaking there is at least one couch, table/desk and large mirror in each studio. Sometimes there are additional pieces and you are free to use them. Unfortunately at this time, we do not have the resources to ensure that specific pieces are in a specific studio prior to a shoot. So we make no guaruntees of furniture availability.

 WILL THE STUDIO BE LOCKED?

Due to the hours kept by our cafe and some of our membership, the space is often open. However, there are lockboxes at the main doors in the event that they are ever locked. You will have a lockbox code in your payment confirmation email.

DO YOU SUPPLY LIGHTING EQUIPMENT?

At this time we are not offering any lighting equipment. Coloured paper backdrops are coming soon.

I HAVE A LOT OF STUFF TO BRING UP, IS THERE AN ELEVATOR?

Yes. You can use the freight elevator. You can find this by parking in the large back parking lot. Go in the main doors, and up the first 3 stairs (Kalsamrit doors) This is the elevator lobby. You can use the loading dock if required. (This is a standard garage door, just pull it open.) *Please be aware, the freight elevator is a manual operator. You must pull open and close the doors yourself, and they will NOT stop for an obstruction. Ensure your hands are inside the elevator and make note to use the INSIDE rope to pull the doors closed if you are on the inside. If you do not close the elevator, it cannot be called by another floor, so please close the elevator doors.

CAN I HOST AN EVENT THAT IS NOT A PHOTOSHOOT?

Yes. We book many wedding showers and workshops. You may bring in outside food & drink if desired, though our cafe is happy to work with you to supply refreshments.

DO YOU SUPPLY TABLES & CHAIRS?

Yes. We have up to 35 folding chairs, and 6 folding tables. Please note the folding tables have been used for crafting workshops and will need table cloths. (Client to supply) Please leave your tables and chairs folded and off to the side at the end of your event. *additional fees apply for pre-event set-up, takedown or clean ups by our team.)

HOW CAN I SHARE A PRESENTATION DURING A WORKSHOP?

We have a large tv equipped with Google Chromecast that can be brought in for your presentation. Please notify our team prior to your booking date that this is required and it will be left out for you.
